The Ragged Trousers

Details

We created an integrated events management and promotions site. When combined with the others Pantiles pubs, the Ragged Trousers forms part of a powerful online presence.

Testomony

"Being a pub which relies heavily on food sales during the week and at weekend lunch times, the food drop down menu on the front page has allowed us to keep people updated as to seasonal changes and offers. It was a particularly useful tool at Christmas with several bookings coming directly from site traffic. The news page has kept people updated as to upcoming events at the pub and across the local area without having to pay out for printing etc. We are in the process of setting up foursquare for the pub but the combination thus far of using Facebook and Twitter alongside the website has increased people's awareness of the business and events in the local area. With several events coming up in the coming months we are looking to make the most of the embedded image gallery to show people having fun in the sun!" - Paul Fillis - Manager - The Ragged Trousers.

Kendoc

Details

We migrated the original kendoc.org.uk site from ASP Nuke to Drupal 7. Alltooeasy re-designed the entire file management system to make use of Drupal's ability to relate and develop taxonomy terms. This gives the Kendoc Team an easy and intuitive means of developing their knowledge base. Medical private practices have to adhere to the General Medical Council's (GMC) directives on how they advertise their services. Alltooeasy worked with Kendoc to create a simple method of providing users with access to a wide array of rich information on conditions and treatments, which are linked to NHS resources alongside Kendoc's professional accreditation. Alltooeasy also included the ability to provide downloadable PDF media and links to current research links. Alltooeasy provided training on all the features of the site as well as in operating the built-in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) systems. The feedback from the site has been excellent, and Kendoc has reported a significant increase in inquiries and page visits since the conversion and upgrade.

"Alltooeasy provided me with helpful, friendly and professional advice followed by a speedy, accurate, user-friendly design and implementation of our new website. This has already had a huge impact on our practice after a very short time. I can highly recommend this enthusiastic company, which will offer any new customer a great service." Libby Everall

Details

Libby is a talented creative design student. Across a wide range of media, we worked with her to define a simple and effective means of displaying her portfolio. Working with Libby, we decided to use a landing page with large images of her art as the background with a simple overlay of the menu and sidebar featuring rotating image galleries of her three main disciplines. These serve to engage the casual visitor, while a larger set of images for each discipline is available on the sub pages, which features nine images from three sub sections.

"Alltooeasy designed and constructed the layout, creating a clear and user-friendly site that empathised with my illustrations and the requirements of my work. Flexible and creative in their approach, they made it simple for me to play with the composition and update my drawings/illustrations. It's been a fantastic learning experience for me as a far less technology-minded artist. They explained the different processes and brought together the finished site beautifully. I think it's very me, which is lovely because I would like people to get a good sense of my personal style from my website and that's definitely happened, so thank you." Libby Everall

The Sussex Arms

http://www.thesussextw.co.uk/

Details

The Sussex Arms and its sister pub were originally going to form part of a wider deployment of networked Drupal 6.0 sites. Working in collaboration with Alltooeasy, we discussed and developed a strategy to combine a wide array of websites in the area that shared a common interest: in this case music and events. Both the Sussex Arms and its sister pub can be connected to a parent website. This means that updates to either The Ragged Trousers or The Sussex Arms would automatically populate the events listing for this are. Events added to the parent website could be syndicated to either of the pub sites, meaning the sites could effectively be managed from head office or individually. However owing to changes beyond our control, they elected to separate the systems.

"The design of The Sussex Arms website has been laid out well, and I find it incredibly user-friendly. The division of the home page into events, promotions and sports feed creates an easy reference front page with individual links to different areas of the site. Association with a local music venue (with calendar, ticket info and the ability to link to music websites and videos) has given visitors the ability to try before they buy, so to speak. In addition, the real ales block has been particularly helpful in keeping our ale-drinking clientele informed as to when their favourites are on tap. Being busy with the general management of multiple units, my time can become quite scarce. So the ease of use means I don't have to spend too much time updating everything on a weekly basis. We have received several inquiries through the site resulting in the hire of our private function room for events, and the Twitter feed has been a useful tool for enticing people down for last minute events and sports."
