Brief Description

A highly informative medical site focused around Endometriosis. The site offers details, symptoms and treatments for the Endometriosis condition.

Constructed using Drupal 7 and migrated from ASP Nuke, the site includes a number of features that allow Kendoc to update, expand and develop their website:

  • Content associations: allowing related terms to be grouped and displayed contextually to a user
  • User permissions: different users of the site can access and edit different functions, meaning that copy and content can be proofread and approved
  • jQuery: allowing the right hand menu system and graphic to be overlayed
  • Accreditation: the accreditations of the Kendoc staff can be assigned to individual team members or customised as required
  • Patient leaflet downloads
  • News feeds

  • External links to further information

We provided training on the system, allowing kendoc.org.uk administrators to expand their website themselves.

Both the clients as well as Alltooeasy were happy with the production of the site. Once the resources were in place, the website seamlessly transitioned from its outdated platform to Drupal 7.

Project Details

We migrated the original kendoc.org.uk site from ASP Nuke to Drupal 7. Alltooeasy re-designed the entire file management system to make use of Drupal's ability to relate and develop taxonomy terms. This gives the Kendoc Team an easy and intuitive means of developing their knowledge base. Medical private practices have to adhere to the General Medical Council's (GMC) directives on how they advertise their services. Alltooeasy worked with Kendoc to create a simple method of providing users with access to a wide array of rich information on conditions and treatments, which are linked to NHS resources alongside Kendoc's professional accreditation. Alltooeasy also included the ability to provide downloadable PDF media and links to current research links. Alltooeasy provided training on all the features of the site as well as in operating the built-in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) systems. The feedback from the site has been excellent, and Kendoc has reported a significant increase in inquiries and page visits since the conversion and upgrade.
