HTML 4 (and some HTML 5)

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is the predominate markup language for web pages. It forms the basic building blocks of all websites. Drupal websites all end up as HTML when they are finally rendered though a browser. HTML4 has been the standard since 1997, and HTML5's first draft was created in 2008. Though its features are slowly being incorporated into browsers and websites, Alltooeasy anticipates HTML5 to not impact Drupal dramatically until Drupal 8 is released in a few years.
