Every Alltooeasy website is created using a staged development process
Creating Drupal CMS websites is more like software development than normal website development, and therefore requires a similar approach. In order for a site to attain approval for release, it must undergo a series of rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) testing to assure absolute structural stability and feature functionality. The preliminary sites we submit for QA testing are called release candidates.

Quality Assurance (QA) tests include, but are not limited to:

  • Spell checking
  • Software debugging
  • Performance testing
  • Browser cross-compatibility testing
  • User Experience (UE) testing
  • A/B testing (where necessary)

QA is one of the most labour-intensive processes in web design, and most sites go through several release candidates before being approved by both our QA system and the client. Once approved, Version 1.0 is scheduled for release. Larger projects often have simultaneous development handling different aspects of a staged delivery so that whilst Version 1.0 is being made, the components of Version 2.0 are also being developed.
